When I got Nick's notification on Facebook that he was wanting people to join this hike on Kilimanjaro, I thought for about 3 seconds before I hit 'accept'.

I live in Vancouver, Canada. I have 2 gorgeous daughters, who are madly jealous of my planned adventure. My husband, Charlie, died 3 years ago, and he would be so very proud.

This is a great reason to hike all our local mountains in preparation for the trip.

I look forward to meeting my fellow climbers and raising money for Starfish Malawi
