I am a 46 years old dentist with a practice in Gloucester. Happily married to Sarah with 3 children.

Originally from Scotland and qualified at Edinburgh university in 1990 before moving south in 2000.

Used to bash Munros in my younger days and love the mountains to ski in now.

I need a challenge and a mission for this year. A friend and patient ran this past me and here I am all signed up.

I have fund raised mostly for UK benefiting child charities in the past, some with minor challenges.

It is time for a widening of the scope.

I very much look forward to the camaraderie and the exhilaration of the pinnacle reach of the climb.
